Hi, I’m Paul, the astrophotographer behind AstroPlanet Studios, based on the Wirral Peninsula in the UK.

I specialise in deep-sky astrophotography, capturing nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and the Moon and Planets, using telescopes and dedicated astronomy cameras. Many of these objects are incredibly faint and distant, requiring long exposures and careful processing to reveal their structure and colour.

Each image on this site represents hours of imaging under the night sky and shows objects that exist hundreds or even thousands of light-years away.

Astrophotography allows us to see the universe in a completely different way, revealing detail and beauty that would otherwise remain hidden. This site is where I share those images and the incredible objects that exist far beyond our planet.
